To avoid the risk of damage to your boat in high winds or rough weather, we recommend that you tie down ropes, sails, and tarps.

During the winter months, it is important that your fuel tanks, water tanks, and ballast tanks are empty to prevent the risk of freezing and cracking. Make sure to drain all liquids before storing your boat.

To prevent damage to the battery, it is recommended that you remove it, make sure it gets a full charge, and store it in a safe, dry place for the winter. No one wants to pull the boat for the first time and experience a dead battery!

If your boat has exhaust ports, it’s a good idea to seal them (you can use duct tape) before storing to prevent pests from entering and clogging the ports.

The last step before you store your boat for the season is to use a custom cover for your boat and utilize boat wrap to protect your vessel from the elements. You may want to consider hiring a professional to properly wrap your boat.
