Duncan Totem Walk - Duncan BC

Back in the day, the peoples of the Northwest Coast had totem poles that were designed to tell the family’s story. In 1985, a totem pole project was brought to life in Duncan to carry on this tradition, attract visitors, and celebrate the relationship between the City of Duncan and the Quw’utsun’ people. The community of Duncan acknowledges that the collection of totems is located on the traditional lands of the Quw’utsun’ people.

Residents and visitors alike can explore downtown Duncan and embark on the Totem Tour Walk to see these incredible monuments in person.
