In 1985, a totem pole project was brought to life in Duncan to carry on this tradition, attract visitors, and celebrate the relationship between the City of Duncan and the Quw’utsun’ people. The community of Duncan acknowledges that the collection of totems is located on the traditional lands of the Quw’utsun’ people.
